The 2017 NPA Spring Policy Forum will be held March 20-22 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. The program for the event, including registration information, is now available.

You also can view the tentative agenda, which will be updated regularly. The Exhibitor and Sponsor Prospectus details a range of opportunities.

The Spring Policy Forum provides attendees an opportunity to learn from policy and political experts about the potential scope and direction of the coming reforms that will reshape our health care system. There is a new administration this year, and the 115th Congress has been sworn into office. The potential repeal of the Affordable Care Act and possible changes to Medicare and Medicaid are in the spotlight.

This event also is an opportunity to interact with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), states and others about more targeted federal and state initiatives impacting PACE directly and indirectly. It has never been more important for the PACE community to make its presence known on Capitol Hill. NPA provides attendees the opportunity to educate members of Congress and their staffs through in-person meetings on Capitol Hill.

We invite you to participate in this year’s forum to better understand the changing landscape, hear from thought leaders and policy-makers about what’s ahead, and network with your PACE peers, CMS and state agencies.

The room rate at the Omni Shoreham Hotel is $315 single/double, plus applicable taxes and fees. The government rate is $242. For reservations, call 202-234-0700 or 800-THE-OMNI and reference the NPA Group or visit the Omni Hotels website. Online reservations also are available for the government rate. The reservation deadline is Feb. 25.

Please note that NPA contracts a certain number of hotel rooms at the Omni based on past and projected attendance at the forum, and we are financially liable to fill these rooms. It is important that attendees reserve a room within the NPA block so that conference rates do not increase. Reservations made through third parties like Hotels.com and Expedia do not provide credit toward our block. Please call the hotel directly and reference the NPA Group to receive the special contracted rate or use the online reservation link for forum attendees. If you encounter a problem, contact Venise Lewis, and she will work with the hotel to resolve the issue.
