The 2017 NPA Summer Conference will be held June 9-11 in Omaha, NE. The conference will feature a Quality Symposium and Medical Director Essentials Course on June 9 and a Clinical Symposium on June 10-11.

The conference program, which includes registration information, is now available.

The conference hotel is the Hilton Omaha. Online reservations are now available, or call 888-370-0980. The rate is $149 single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes and fees. Mention National PACE Association to receive this special rate. The reservation deadline has been extended to May 11, based on availability. Reservations made after that date are subject to a higher rate and room availability.

This year, the social event of the conference will be "An Evening in the Wild West: Night Out at the Durham Museum" on Saturday, June 10, at 5:30-9 p.m.

The Durham Museum features beautiful architecture and is located in one of the most unique treasures of the city, Union Station. The museum showcases the region's rich past with exhibits on history, culture, science and industry through its affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution and strong ties with the Library of Congress, National Archives and the Field Museum.

For the NPA social event, re-enactors from Wild West Creations will bring the excitement of the city’s past to life by portraying the lawless era of the 1880s immediately following the Civil War, a time that brought together law-abiding citizens and lawless settlers in an untamed West. The evening will feature a buffet dinner with local cuisine and provide networking opportunities for PACE colleagues from around the country. There will be plenty of photo opportunities as Wild West performers “arrest” PACE “outlaws.” Don’t miss out on this unique social opportunity, and bring your camera!
