The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) has announced a call for abstracts for the 2017 Long-Term and Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) Health IT Summit, which will be held June 25-27 in Baltimore, MD. NPA is helping to plan the summit as a member of the LTPAC Health IT Collaborative.
The summit is the premier health IT conference for LTPAC professionals. Health IT leaders, policy-makers, providers, vendors and professionals have convened for more than a dozen years to assess the current state of the industry and advance health care policies.
Submission categories of the call for abstracts include care coordination and data sharing; confidentiality, privacy and security; consumer engagement; health care leadership and innovation; health care transformation and clinical technology innovations; health informatics and data analytics; and information governance and standards.
The submission deadline has been extended to March 3.
