Maureen Sturzo, LSW, has been named center manager of the Element Care Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE®) in Lowell, MA. She will oversee the day-to-day operations of Central PACE at Element Care, which serves Greater Lowell.
“About eight years ago I learned about PACE at Element Care and really liked the model that allows older adults to receive all of their health care and social services under one roof,” she said. “I am thankful to be part of this very skilled and talented interdisciplinary care team that is committed to delivering highly coordinated care to improve outcomes for our participants in Greater Lowell.”
Sturzo, who has more than 15 years of experience working with elders in a variety of community settings, previously was a multi-site branch manager with Caregiver Homes for the Merrimack Valley and worked at Minuteman Senior Services in Burlington and Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley.
“Maureen brings to Element Care her strong experience and skills in the key components of center management, including program operations, community resources and case management systems,” said Liz Agnes, director of Center Operations at Element Care. “With her extensive background in caring for older adults and her deep roots in the Greater Lowell community, Maureen will be a valuable resource to our participants and staff at our state-of-the-art PACE center serving greater Lowell. We are thrilled to have her on board.”
