Prospective PACE Provider memberships are available to tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations that are evaluating or pursuing PACE development or are completing or have submitted a provider application.

The benefits of a Prospective PACE Provider membership includes specialized and timely knowledge, information and tools that will enhance your ability to plan and develop a successful PACE program. 

  • Technical Assistance: The NPA staff is available to provide general technical assistance. In-depth technical assistance is available through the NPA Technical Assistance Center (TAC) members. Fees for services from the TACs vary and are payable directly to the TAC.
  • Strategic Planning: The NPA staff will work with your leaders to assess how PACE fits into the strategic plan of your organization and to define the challenges and opportunities of PACE.
  • Federal Policies: The NPA newsletter, timely updates and online resources will keep you up to date on emerging issues, trends and federal regulations so you can be proactive in preparing to meet upcoming challenges. 
  • Targeted Learning Experiences: Join with other Prospective Provider members to learn from experts in the field. The NPA Annual Conference, which is held in the fall, is the only event of its kind dedicated to the unique needs of organizations that are exploring, developing, operating, or expanding PACE programs. Other periodic events address timely issues, such as emerging federal regulations. Monthly teleconferences are targeted to various disciplines and feature practical information in an easily accessible format.
  • Peer-to-Peer Learning: Discipline-specific list serves provides your staff with opportunities to address questions and discuss issues directly with their peers. Through our online Membership Directory, you can identify NPA members who have operational programs similar to what you are developing, and you can contact them to discuss specific and unique issues.
  • PACE: The Future of Long-Term Care: This video is an informative tool that can be used to educate organizational and community leaders, government officials and potential partners about the PACE benefit.

The annual membership investment for a Prospective Provider member is $12,000 (pro-rated during the first year of membership if the join date is after the start of the membership year). To initiate the membership process, complete the Prospective Provider application and return it to NPA. You will be sent an invoice for the amount owed for your first year of membership.
