The 2023 NPA Summer Conference will be held June 2-4 in Colorado Springs, CO. The conference features a Quality Symposium and Medical Director Essentials (MDE) Course on Friday, June 2, and a Clinical Symposium on Saturday and Sunday, June 3-4.
The conference will bring together hundreds of PACE clinicians, new and experienced medical directors, and quality improvement leaders. Special events include a welcome reception, a social event at the Flying W Ranch, and a site tour of Rocky Mountain PACE.
Colorado Springs is located at the foot of Pikes Peak in the scenic Rocky Mountain region. Area attractions include museums, adventure sports and cultural offerings. Among the notable attractions are the Garden of the Gods natural landmark, Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum, U.S. Olympic Complex Training Center and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The conference will be held at The Antlers, a Wyndham Hotel, in downtown Colorado Springs. Amenities include a variety of on-site dining venues, a business center, complimentary Wi-Fi, fitness center, outdoor pool and hot tub. The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is located just 11 miles from The Antlers and downtown Colorado Springs. The approximate cost of a taxi from the airport to the conference hotel is $40. Denver International Airport (DIA) is approximately an hour away. Rental cars and taxis are readily available.
The social event of the conference is an evening at the Flying W Ranch on Saturday, June 3, at 4:30-8 p.m. Attendees will be transported to the Flying W Ranch immediately following the site tour at Rocky Mountain PACE. A separate fee is required to attend the social event. A limited number of tickets is available.
Join your colleagues for a fun evening at the historic Flying W Ranch, one of the most popular destinations in Colorado. The evening will feature a chuckwagon-style dinner with all the trimmings and a Western stage show performed by the world-renowned Flying W Wranglers.
Attendees can observe a Navajo rug weaver and silversmith, view a horseshoeing demonstration, visit Marian’s Cooking Library, and watch the Sweetwater Plains Dancers perform. They also can see the American Milking Devon oxen and other ranch animals, ride a train through the Christmas Rock Train Tunnel, explore the scenic mountain property, and visit the gift shop.
