The 2018 NPA Spring Policy Forum was held March 19-20 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. The highlights of the forum are listed in the program.

NPA Public Service Awards

NPA Public Service Awards were presented to U.S. Reps. Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) and Ron Kind (D-WI), State Sen. Dave Hildenbrand (R-MI), and Laura Otterbourg, director of Aging Services at the New Jersey Department of Human Services.

The awards recognize public or elected officials who demonstrate a commitment to PACE and the individuals it serves, advocate for the growth and expansion of PACE, and provide leadership on behalf of NPA and its members. You can view the list of past recipients.

Capitol Hill Advocacy Day

New this year at the Spring Policy Forum was NPA Capitol Hill Advocacy Day on March 20. Buses transported attendees to Capitol Hill to meet with their representatives and senators and participate in a general session and luncheon with national leaders and influencers at the prestigious Capitol Hill Club.
