CHA PACE Staff Among First to Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

As part of the hospital-based health system Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), staff at the CHA Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) were among the first health providers to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Thirty CHA PACE staff members received the first dose of the vaccine on Dec. 18.

CHA PACE provides health care and other support for adults age 55 and over who have qualifying medical needs and want to continue living at home. Eligibility requirements include residing in the PACE service area and being able to live safely in a community setting with appropriate support. Services include medical care, medication, transportation to medical visits and care centers, companionship, activities and other support.

Kathryn (Ty) Tylander, manager of Quality and Compliance at CHA PACE, was among 30 staff members who received a first dose on Dec. 18.
