Efforts on New PACE Regulations Get Boost

November 30, 2015

Efforts by the National PACE Association (NPA) to get the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) to issue the new PACE regulations it promised in 2012 got a boost recently when Politico reported on the issue in its daily report on health care policy news on Nov. 19.

You can view the news item, "First in Pulse: Updating the PACE Program," on the Politico website.

Politico reported on the delay after NPA sent its latest letter to HHS secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell on Nov. 18 about the new regulations, which would increase the operational flexibility and reduce the administrative burdens of PACE programs.
