Geisinger Expands LIFE Program in Pennsylvania

Geisinger Health System, which already has Living Independently for Elders (LIFE) programs in Scranton and Kulpmont, PA, expanded to Wilkes-Barre last month, opening a new 3,000-square foot center at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

“Our incentive is to keep people well, keep them happy, and keep them healthy and living in the community,” said Robert McQuillan, associate vice president for the Geisinger Care Continuum.

“The beauty of this program is that individuals get to stay in their homes," he said. "They get to stay with their families.”
