“With 45 years of experience under its belt, On Lok has always done such amazing work throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and I look forward to serving as its COO,” said Nolan. “I’m happy to return to this organization after working here for several years in the late ‘80s. The passion people exude here is infectious, and that’s what makes me excited to go to work every day."

Prior to joining On Lok, Nolan was vice president of the CA Medicare Medi-Cal Program (MMP) at Anthem Blue Cross. Previously, he held roles at Alameda Alliance for Health, Chi Partners LLC and NCB Capital Impact. He was director of fund development, marketing and public relations at On Lok from 1988 to 1993.

Nolan previously served on the board of directors at Charity Tuesday in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and was the board president for California Culture Change Coalition. He also was treasurer of Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay, a steering committee member for the Alameda County Long-Term Care Integration Planning Project, part of the California Community Transitions Program Advisory Work Group, and a board member for the Pastoral Care Committee in Ho Chi Minh City.

On Lok is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. The family of nonprofit organizations serves seniors in the community through affiliated nonprofits such as On Lok Lifeways and the 30th Street Senior Center.
