NPA Webinar on Response to COVID-19 in PACE

On March 16, 2020, the National PACE Association (NPA) hosted a webinar titled "Responding to COVID-19 in PACE" to provide information on how PACE organizations are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The speakers included Shawn Bloom, president and CEO of NPA; Adam Burrows, MD, chair of the NPA Board of Directors and medical director of Upham's PACE; David Wensel, DO, chair of the NPA Primary Care Committee and chief medical officer at Midland Care PACE; and Assad Kazemi, MD, medical director, and Susan Tuller, executive director, at Providence ElderPlace – Seattle.

Dr. Burrows discussed balancing participant care with preventing transmission, and Dr. Kazemi and Tuller presented a case study. Dr. Wensel reviewed existing PACE resources, and Bloom highlighted the resources and support provided by NPA.

The webinar concluded with a session of information sharing and a Q&A.
