June 15, 2016

State Sen. Eileen Donoghue recently visited the new Element Care Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE®) in downtown Lowell, MA. The PACE center is one of the most advanced in the country.

Sen. Donoghue met with executive director Robert Wakefield, the medical team and program participants to learn about the vision of Element Care and its care model for healthy aging in the community. PACE is helping to address the needs of the aging population in Lowell and surrounding Merrimack Valley communities.

Element Care, founded in 1995, is a nonprofit senior health care organization with the mission to help people live safely and comfortably in their homes and communities for as long as possible. Its PACE programs provide complete health care to eligible individuals throughout the Massachusetts North Shore, the Merrimack Valley, and the northeast region of Middlesex County.
