March 16, 2018

Sonja Felton, MPA, MSW, has accepted the position of executive director at Huron Valley PACE.

“My goal is to lead Huron Valley PACE to new heights of success and elevation,” she said. “I am excited about the opportunity to expand our organization, become a leader in elder health care in our community, become a nationally recognized PACE organization, and provide visionary leadership to the organization.”

Since joining Huron Valley PACE in 2014, Felton has held the positions of medical social worker, medical social work manager, center director and, most recently, interim executive director. She earned her master of public administration at North Carolina State University, where she was a Patricia Robert Harris Fellow, and a master in social work at the University of Michigan, where she was a McGregor Fellow in Geriatric Social Work.

Huron Valley PACE, in Ypsilanti, MI, serves older adults age 55 and over who have ongoing health care needs. Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE®) provide all the care and services covered by Medicare and Medicaid, as well as additional care and services regarded as necessary by the PACE interdisciplinary team, which works with participants and their families to develop the most effective plan of care for the individual.
