Blue Ridge Independence at Home had been nominated for the award for its “innovative facility [that] merges health care with vibrant social community spaces, creating an exceptional environment that enhances both independence and quality of life for the elderly and peace of mind and less time off and call-outs for caregivers.” The approach “combines clinical excellence with social engagement.”
