Local PACE Programs Will Host Site Tours

Each year, a highlight of the annual conference is exploring local PACE programs through exclusive site tours. Attendees at this year’s conference will have the opportunity to visit ArchCare Senior Life, CenterLight Healthcare PACE and ElderServe Health PACE.

The PACE programs will host site tours to showcase their facilities, share best practices, and discuss the participant populations they serve. Tours will be offered throughout the conference at various times during the day. After checking in at NPA registration, attendees can sign up for the tours at the volunteer counter. They will be transported from the conference hotel to the PACE programs by bus.

ArchCare Senior Life

ArchCare Senior Life has a new Harlem PACE Center near Central Park East that features an immersive, indoor “Main Street,” which brings together care, choice and community under one roof. Attendees can tour the salon, movie theater, cafe/diner counter, craft studio, library, PT/OT gym, training kitchen and medical clinic.

The continuing care community of the Archdiocese of New York, ArchCare offers comprehensive, coordinated and person-centered care. Its innovative environment empowers older adults to live with greater choice and independence and supports their families.

CenterLight Healthcare PACE

CenterLight Healthcare PACE, the oldest and largest single-state PACE program in the country, welcomes conference attendees to tour two vibrant PACE centers. Guests can choose to visit Grand Street PACE Center in the heart of Chinatown, where participants will be enjoying the Mid-Autumn Festival, including a traditional lion dance performance, music by the PACE Choir, and activities in the Mahjong Room. At Wallerstein PACE Center in the Bronx, Hispanic Heritage Month will be celebrated with live entertainment by Mambo Blue and culturally themed crafts. Visitors also will see an on-site hair salon and experience the art studio, where participants will showcase their talents during the tours.

Both centers feature state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities for physical and occupational therapy, expansive day health centers and comprehensive medical treatment centers. Come see the difference PACE makes in these vibrant and diverse communities!

ElderServe Health PACE

Developed with RiseBoro Community Partnership, ElderServe Health PACE is located on the ground floor of the new RiseBoro apartment building in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.

RiseBoro worked with the world-famous architectural firm Studio Libeskind to develop a one-of-a-kind building with no right angles. The nearly 7,000-square foot space boasts a state-licensed Diagnostic and Treatment Center, a rehabilitation area for physical and occupational therapy, and a large recreation/therapeutic recreation room.
