Registration is open for the 2024 NPA Annual Conference, which will be held Oct. 13-16 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego in San Diego, CA. The NPA Annual Conference is our premier educational event, featuring educational sessions, poster presentations, networking opportunities, exhibits and special events.

Symposiums on a range of PACE topics will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13, followed by educational sessions Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 14-16.

Group Discount Pricing

NPA will provide refunds to PACE organizations that meet a minimum number of registrations for the 2024 NPA Annual Conference. The discount applies to the full conference registration fee for all registrants of the PACE organization. All PACE organization staff must register prior to the conference. Group discount refunds will be processed after the conclusion of the annual conference and NPA verifies the number of attendees from the PACE organization. Learn more.

About the Conference

Keynote Speaker: Bestselling Author Mitch Albom

Bestselling author, journalist and philanthropist Mitch Albom will be the keynote speaker. He will present his inspiring address, sponsored by On Lok PACEpartners, on Monday, Oct. 14. Albom’s books have collectively sold more than 40 million copies in 48 languages worldwide. His memoir, “Tuesdays with Morrie,” is the No. 1 bestselling memoir of all time. His nationally syndicated column in the Detroit Free Press offers accessible cultural commentary that invites readers to reflect on their lives, values and the broader human experience.

A renowned inspirational speaker, Albom founded and operates the Have Faith Haiti orphanage in Port Au Prince, Haiti, which he has visited every month since 2010. He also founded SAY Detroit, an umbrella organization of nine charities dedicated to improving the lives of underserved populations in the city.

Hotel Reservations

While most of the hotels contracted by NPA are currently sold out due to a city-wide event taking place in San Diego over the conference dates, the Hilton Bayfront has rooms available on select dates if you make a reservation by Friday, Oct. 4. The available dates are Oct. 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18. The room rate is $399 per night, plus a $32 daily destination fee that includes a $15 food and beverage credit (excluding tax and gratuity) at hotel restaurants.

Conference Hotel

The Manchester Grand Hyatt is the official conference hotel. The room rate is $319 single/double. You can access the special discounted conference rate online or call toll-free at 800-233-1234 and use reference code "G-PATS" or mention the National PACE Association. While the hotel has sold out on select days, you can continue to check back for availability as cancellations do occur.

Overflow Hotel

The overflow hotel for the conference is the Marriott Marquis San Diego, which is conveniently located next to the Hyatt. While it has sold out on select days, we recommend that you continue to check back for availability as cancellations do occur. There is availability on Saturday, Oct. 12, and Wednesday, Oct. 16, if you plan to extend your stay before or after the conference.

Reservations are $399 single/double plus fees, including a $15 destination fee that includes a daily one-hour bicycle rental, a daily one-hour kayak rental, high-speed internet access in the guestroom, complimentary wireless internet in the meeting space (restrictions apply), a daily fitness class in the Fitness Center, $15 daily F/B credit at Starbucks or Exchange, two featured glasses of wine 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Marina Kitchen, and a complimentary shoeshine per stay (excluding boots or suede) plus gratuity.

You also have the option to book a room at a hotel on this list. All of the hotels on the list are within walking distance of the conference hotel. After securing a room at another property, you can continue to check back with the hotels contracted by NPA as cancellations do occur.
