An Exciting Host City Is Waiting to Welcome You!
When you attend the NPA Summer Conference next month in Cleveland, you'll have a wide selection of attractions to visit, most within a short walk or quick drive of the conference hotel, the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. The social event of the conference will be held at the nearby Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday, June 6. (A separate fee is required.)
Within a 10-minute walk of the conference hotel are the Soldiers’ and Sailors Monument, JACK Cleveland Casino, and Huntington Bank Field, featuring a national men's soccer match that is part of the Road to 26 series.
There is a range of food and drink options nearby: Wyne Tasting Bar, La Cave du Vin (wine tasting), Il Venetian (Italian), Fahrenheit Cleveland (upscale, with patio and rooftop, reservations recommended), Cordelia’s (fresh American), Mabel’s BBQ, Bett’s (trendy American), Taza (Lebanese), and Blue Point Grille (seafood). Free events include the West Side Market; Third Place Makerspace: One CLE, a craft event at the Cleveland Public Library on Thursday, June 4, at 6:30-8 p.m.; Little Italy Summer Art Walk June 5-7; music by Rene Vaca at the House of Blues Cleveland on Saturday, June 6, at 6-10 p.m.; and the Bath Art Festival on Sunday, June 7, at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those interested in art, history and culture may want to visit the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, Cleveland History Center, Cleveland Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland (MOCA), Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and even the house from the movie "A Christmas Story." All of these attractions are within a 15-minute drive.
Nature lovers will enjoy the local parks and zoo, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Greater Cleveland Aquarium and Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
